    Well!!!! Thanks to Catherine Fitts who found out the name of that old comic who played a professor that babbled endless pseudo-academic nonsense! His name was Professor Irwin Corey, the “World’s Foremost Authority”, and here’s a clip:

      He was good! He died last year at age 102 and had been performing into his 90s. Amazing!

        I’m just glad Catherine remembered his name. He used to put me in stitches on the Smothers Brothers show, along with Pat Paulsen.
