Interesting, especially the formation in the center of the crater in lower left quadrant?…if this picture hasn’t been touched up or something.
as far as Im aware, it hasnt been touched up.. here is the original source http://pluto.jhuapl.edu/Multimedia/Science-Photos/pics/BIG_P_COLOR_2_TRUE_COLOR1.png HOWEVER…. lets keep in mind.. any photo coming from space…well.. lets just say… there have been several incidents in the past concerning ‘photos getting some post production make-up’ 🙂 (thanks JPL…)
