Short story of the Polish gold since WWII. After German invasion in 1939 Polish government was able to transport 90 tons of gold to Romania and from there it ended up in France our allies. In 1940 day after French capitulation gold was put on the French ship direction USA. In the mean time Marshal Petain after formation of Vichy puppet government was able to redirect that gold( literally in the mid of Atlantic) back to France. It finally ended up in Dakar Africa . Appointed delegates of Polish émigré government in London decided to ask for help Americans in order to get their gold back from French. Guess who was in charge of that job? None of the other that NYC law office of Sullivan and Cromwell and a partner at that law practice Allan Dulles himself. I guess I don’t have to convince anybody here that Polacks never saw their gold again. Second time Poland lost its gold reserve during a rape of Russia and other Central European countries like Hungary, Poland or Czechoslovakia courtesy Harvard economic think-tanks. This was in the mid nineties. Whatever Poland is buying now it will never replenish what was lost.
