Finally. Someone is thinking… Maybe we need to go back when there were actual ELECTIONS. We should also be more like Australia where you are actually REQUIRED to vote. (Thanks, Charles. Not that you actually get a vote on any real issues other than the guy who represents you.) Anyway, like everything, time to return to the basics.

  Requiring people to vote? No thanks, count me out. But I do think early voting and so on IS a problem.

  Despite “obligatory voting” the political class Down Under is pretty appalling. And for Giza’s sake don’t ask them about Pine Gap!!!

    It’s a joke! Sometimes I scribble some obscenities on the ballot paper. I am that apalled by the whole charade.
