5G: Basically a multi functional surveillance/weapons system. I worked with millimeter wave frequencies from 28-140 GHz for thirty years. I watched many of my friends end up with brain/skin cancer and eye problems over that time period using bench test power levels far below the power these devices will emit. They are phased arrays capable of focusing power at pinpoint locations for many reasons, faster data/ communications are the publicly pushed reasons. In the hands of an unscrupulous government which views its population as enemy combatants its uses can be terribly effective.
