I couldn’t resist. There were 124 midgets from all over Europe and the US (many didn’t speak English nor had they ever seen other little people before the filming) and 12 children were used in this 1939 film. I feel like I am in grade school all over again every time I see this.
What I like to do is “weigh” respective agendas and faults in relation to one another. An elephant doesn’t weigh as much as a mouse, vice versa. No one is clean, but we can give weight.
