Is it a Green New Deal carried out by the weather manipulators? Or just one of the weather derivative situations, the Casino for which runs out of the Chicago Exchange. All I know is that my beef will bring higher prices and I probably can’t afford to feed the bred mothers through next winter. https://www.zerohedge.com/news/2019-03-28/many-million-calves-lost-nebraska-beef-prices-escalate-dramatically-coming-months

I live in Nebraska, its been an unreal experience.

      • Here in Texas, we either have drought and have to keep carrying water to livestock followed by 10″ of rain in an hour that carries off your main connection to town, concrete bridge, your neighbors livestock, and it takes a few years to put everything back together. I used to live in the Adirondack Mountains so I know what it is like to have sudden ice blasts followed by extreme rain storms that knock out your utilities, your roads, and your contact with the outside world. I lived by myself with no neighbors so starting up the generator, chain sawing trees out of your drive and off your fences, melting and carrying water. But having snow that literally froze calves to the ground and then flooding the entire area is absolutely incomprehensible. If we had hay here, we would contribute but we have been struggling for the past two months with not enough round bales to feed the cattle we have due to a severe drought last summer. As Texans, we “feel your pain” and will do what we can to help once the water recedes. Meanwhile, we pray for Nebraska.
