The threat of EMPs has been well known since the beginning of the nuclear age and has been taken fully into account in continuity of government planning, as you would hope/expect. I wonder what has changed and why they appear to want civilians to know about it? Perhaps the threat assessment has been upgraded? Given modern ways of life, an EMP could be an extinction-level event for those affected, especially those living in urban areas.
Alternatively, it could also be a cover for ongoing or future increased radiation incidence due to the current solar minimum. Media reports on events such as fires, chemical or power plant explsions (lots of those now!) could be adjusted to spin actual attacks as “natural” events, or real natural effects as “attacks” according to political convenience.
Yes, perhaps we are already seeing what you suggest? Could the devastating bombogenesis storm (which struck where the bullseye of the continental United States would be) be payback for whatever it was that fried the Venezuelan power grid the previous week? Venezuela’s big creditor friends, Russia and China, both have the technology to repay Venezuelan sabotage in kind, on behalf of their friend and debtor. War – but with plausible deniability (at least as far as the cannon-fodder class/sheeple are concerned). Most of the sheeple would not believe you if you told them it was a man-made act of war.
Now isn’t it strange that those wealthy foundations don’t seem to spend a cent to research issues like this; and if they do, they don’t publish the results …
