I was in Darwin last April… The thought of it being completely under surveillance has me horrified. There is a substantial (very poor) native population so I can just imagine what kind of social control they plan for them! The NT is already quite separate from the rest of Australia, vast grasslands/wetlands and national parks, in the tropics. It makes me cry for the people there.
