Sure. That’s easy. Less Brits Scots and Welsh in UK less power City of London has. As CAF often says if we file our taxes in October instead of April, government will take a notice. 😁
I’m sure the City of London would love it if us troublesome English, Welsh & Scottish moved out of our ancestral homelands and a more docile citizenry type of ‘brit’ moved in. By that same logic, I assume you are making plans to move from the US, so you don’t pay into that regime?
Anyhow, my bones will be buried in these green and pleasant lands and indulge me a poem in that regard:
Andraste
Standing on the edge of the world
Bold, as the wind takes my hair
To fan like a flame, my toes roots in the dirt
A living stone to arthur’s sword
I see the game and hear her gasping across the shore
Her warcry rasping committing to enclasping all our forebears held dear
Carried away on the waves, as they rear up
Like wild beasts almost tamed under a spell
Its ragged angry gape swallows her uttered Will and trembles
And ripples away like a warning, a shot over the starboard bow
As the fish race to glitter in the moonlight, the sea’s grammar
Encircling this emerald isle, a living grimoire like a pebble dropped
Into the heart of the globe, as my bones
Buried deep in this sacred dirt
Seek to exert, a requiem from the living.
I very much support and try to live CAF’s notion of shunning people and things that are of the shepherds. Whatever Cleese’s motives for re-locating are, and whether he will be any more free of the shepherds wherever he’s going, shunning does have major life implications. In my opinion, being a resident and/or citizen in certain jurisdictions, for example, is no longer a rational choice. As I keep preaching, shepherds need sheep. Sheep don’t need shepherds.
So he’s moving to a Caribbean tax haven – ahahahahahaha
Not sure why that’s so funny Dana. He’s retired anyway…
He may be a comedian but with little sense of self-irony – the banks in those tax havens are emanations of the “wicked” British banking system…
By that logic we should all move out of Britain
That’s a thought😁
Would you like to elaborate Barbara?
