I just finished One Second After by William Forstchen. It’s a rather run-of-the mill post-holocaust novel. The only thing unique about it is that it is about a post-emf attack. I was struck by info about how easy it would be to shut down entire US system. There was much discussion of our lack of preparedness for such an attack (if-only we’d…). Then surprise, surprise I receive a letter from PG&E. They are planning shut-off of services this summer. The letter states they will ‘try’ to limit the shut-offs to from 24-48 hours. Are we being trained to prepare for emf attack on our grid?

    • Good book and one I lend out often to “wake people up.” I really like the Coming Home Series by A. American, if you’re looking for another fun read with practical knowledge/skill sets built in.
