    Berlin report: armed forces swearing in ceremony. In another video segment, speech by Merkel’s mooted successor Kramp-Karrenbauer (AKK) where she recalls the heroci acts of the 1944 attempt to eliminate Hitler. It is interesting (yes, I know, it isn’t the first time) that they create a very explicit link between the Reichswehr officers then and the forces today.

      Tom Cruise’s Valkyrie is actually very good and historically accurate movie about this assassination topic. It’s not just blantant Hollyweird propaganda like Saving private Ryan.
