Activity

The Russians are a proud people, toughened by their climate and environment, who have had to endure much more than their fair share of pain and suffering in the past century and longer. Their civil and human rights record is much less than exemplary (whose is not?). Nevertheless, what they have achieved in the last thirty years is remarkable and has gained my respect.
