Oh my goodness! What a sublime and well-made video, like no video I saw before. What a very brave and skillful biker, a remarkable bike and breathtaking scenery. Thanks for sharing, Freefall. If it were me, I would have preferred my feet to be in direct contact with the rocks, earth and water. My bucket list just got longer!

Yes, in fact I did watch it just after writing my post above. As luck would have it, I did have the good fortune to tour southern Iceland a few years ago. It was high “summer,” but the weather was nothing like as good as in the video. I wouldn’t hesitate to return, or to encourage others who have yet to go. It’s like nowhere else. We all need to spend more time in nature.
