I HAD to share this little video about Shiba Inus, with thanks to member Iluvsushi, who told me what Shiloh’s breed is. After my first visit to her veterinarian, he absolutely concurred, she’s a Shiba. Everything in this video is Shiloh to a “t”: small frame but very muscular, fast and agile, a digger, very alert and intelligent, and one thing the video didn’t mention, but that I’ve learned investigating the breed, is that they’re “talkers”, which she certainly is. One thing this video mentions is that the breed is VERY old, and may be one of the first domestications from wolves. I found another video that mentioned their shedding (check), and how clean Shibas keep themselves by constant grooming (check on that too, because little Shiloh is constantly grooming herself). https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Uf2NsI-0BJQ
