I’ve been tracking this author for about ten years. He grew up in Dubai, went to London School of Economics and now lives in Singapore. I’ve met him. He strikes me as a good man who believes technocracy can well serve us. He is perhaps the most well informed guy on the ground documenting deals made, projects created, and the extraordinary complexity of negotiations necessary to bring them about. It’s easy to set aside his bias in that he simply documents what’s going on. It’s pretty amazing. https://www.amazon.com/Future-Asian-Parag-Khanna/dp/150119626X/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&keywords=the%20future%20is%20asian&qid=1544435275&sr=8-1
Thank you very much for the link to Parag Khanna’s book
I agree Asia (and maybe Eurasia if EU and Russia get closer and start new ways of doing buisness) are becoming the new economic and geopolitical powers .
They have young educated and motivated people who are willing to work hard to improve as much as they can their standard of living.
The question is :
what will happen when the military and economic position of the United States in relation to other nations will diminish to a much smaller share ?
And will China be still a dictatorial regime that can expand rule and conquer all around the globe?
