When did the word “across” become “acrost”? .. Once upon a time it was — he crossed the road / he waited to get across .. Now it’s .. he couldn’t get acrost .. I can’t believe how many people are using this NEW word .. Anyone else noticed this or is it just me? .. Strange days indeed ..

    Gives himself the facepalm.. I was 2 seconds away from googling ‘Nu Yoikism’… I dunno, thought it was maybe a new religion or summat..
