Howdy, this is for ML light and anyone else interested….I missed the vidchat but listened to it and thought I’d refer you to a work that would further your research in that area of your submission…it’s a book that Dr. Farrell references in his “Thrice Great Hermetica”, titled “The Secret Society of Moses” by Flavio Barbiero…and I highly, highly recommend it…enjoy!

A number of old families assert that they are descended from Noah and other Biblical characters. The common opinion is that this is just fantasy, but there may be more to it, though with the proviso that such descent would be “diluted” to infinitesimal levels; and then there is the question of matrilinear as opposed to patrilinear descent. By using the “topological” model of genealogy, any single ancestor, however far back, could somehow be “harnessed”. Just like any of us might tend to identify with certain individuals in our own ancestry and not others.
… If the Noah account is true (assuming the Noah account is the only TRUE account as is usually assumed to be the case as it is the only “approved account”), then Noah and his family were the ONLY humans left on Earth. If they were the only humans left on Earth, then isn’t everyone alive now (again assuming that none of us are the result of others who arrived here from somewhere else) related not only to Noah but to each other as well? If so, then each of us can make the same claim as the “old families”. Just wondering. Dilution … Hmmmmm is seems that I recall some group in recent history that was concerned with dilution …. now who was that?

I hear ya..I just did the Christmas book buying spree and lost it myself…Barbiero’s book is worth it, and it’s heavily footnoted…enjoy!
