Respectfully, I spent a decade working for Sam. I’ve witnessed the MacGyver like capability of some of the most uneducated and resource deprived people in the world. Those sly fellows came up with countless ways to counter our “military superiority” with things anyone can pick up at Home Depot. IF, something like this were to ever come stateside, our hillbilly’s and red necks alone, would decimate any armor rolling their way. Aside from that, we’ve got an entire generation of millennial’s who spent years fighting insurgencies and honing their skills. Most of those young vets all came home, bought better weapons than they were issued, and have far better training than any police force who would aim to impose ill will on them. I spent my entire career in the 75th Ranger Regiment. On one rotation over seas (average 4mo) we would conduct 100’s of raids/ambushes/fire fights. In other words, your average Ranger in one rotation would have accumulated what previously would have been multiple lifetimes of war fighting experience from a historical average. This is mostly due to the speed of modern war, its lighting fast now compared to the slow rumble of the past. There are 1000’s of these men who are now out of the military, and daring NATO or some other police force to make a move. That all sounds silly, but its true.
