Im not entirely sure how to interpret this space force thing. On one side its been known for a long time that the US is arming space so why the need to proclaim this. If it was secret then its not secret anymore. One would expect a certain uproar about this , some hubbub at least from the public but they seem to be zombified. Space weaponry is an incredibly stupid idea when you think about it. As a self defense measure Russia and China could start shooting down their own satellites and just let the ensuing debris field take care of the rest , no way to defend against that so why bother? If you can use it as a prop for psy ops (starting fires etc..) then it would work , or as a psychological weapon system working in tandem with 5G where you can target whole regions with frequencies aimed at the minds of men or something similar. But once its out there we know and then its more or less useless as it would be fairly easy to shoot it down. Ofc we would encircle our planet with debris and can wave goodbye to space exploration as a possibility in the future. Seems to be stupid (or very smart) to announce this and proclaim this as most other countries will not stand for this.
