Apparently, according to Dr. Pieczenik, General Soulimani was also a threat to Ayatollah Khamenei because he was extremely powerful, second in command. Removing him as a threat makes dealing with the regime much easier and means that other peaceful means to resolve conflict are much more effective. I know people disregard Infowars as being a legitimate source of information, but Dr. Pieczenik’s interview there is helpful. He provides insight you won’t hear anywhere else.
