I loaned my mother my copy of the Franklin Coverup about a week ago. I went to my parents house today and she gave it back saying she doesn’t think she’ll read it. My dad, being the internet commando he is, asked me “if I’d ever Googled that book.” He wen’t on to tell me how the internet says its fake and was put out to generate a buzz for profit. It’s just so frustrating that people no longer do their own do diligence, they simply “google it” and poof, that’s it.
Just thought I’d share.

Sadly, lots of people just take the blue pill. And then feel very, very indignant when, say, their neighbour’s child disappears, their property burned or their pension cancelled….
I started to read it, it was too much. I set it aside. Then I said to myself, do it ‘conned’, these kids deserve to b heard! I read it, tissue at hand. I loaned it to a friend. She never read it. I asked for it back. I’m ambivalent about it. I kind of think it deserves to be put in some holy place in my home. I didn’t do that though. I need that information to recede from my everyday awareness to live well.
Amen Conned. I have that book and did not make it through the whole thing (which is not like me). Perhaps I should follow your honorable example. Be well.
