Amusing tidbit. Unusually (for me) I got a book through AMZ (The Vengeful Djinn by Guiley & Imbrogno) and sent in a review written in low-key, almost academic terms; they said they would not publish it, with the usual excuse of violating rules etc. etc. I’ll make a little experiment reviewing a work by Tolkien, who is not exactly considered a controversial author!

Outrageous.
Co-author Imbrogno has a tainted reputation. No decently composed review should be rejected.
A few guesses as to why your review was rejected …
1) You failed to write your review in crayon.
2) You used your “big words”.
3) You failed to properly use “gendered pronouns”.
4) You used language requiring comprehension abilities above the 5th grade level.
5) Based on your writing the algorithm tagged you as “intolerant” or “critical”.
6) You showed your inability to “bellyfeel” the book.
7) You were obviously “duckwriting” (the graphical equivalent of “duckspeak”).
8) The algorithm was confused when in the course of your witty repartee you made a quite amusing reference to Grey Poupon.
9) You didn’t have sufficient use of the word “like”.
10) You LIKE spent to much time LIKE being concerned LIKE about irrelevancies LIKE grammar and punctuation LIKE.
I’m sure there were other equally valid reasons. These are the few that occurred to me on the spur of the moment.
Like really?
… terrible dilemma here … do I respond by typing “Like yeah!” or do I click the like button? What to do?

Nah Bruh, Ya gotta remember to use the word “like” it was, like a pronoun, and like a noun or something. ;}
