Hello everyone, does anyone have recommendations for literature to learn about the renaissance, enlightenment era etc. I know Dr. Farrell urges people to own the culture and this is where I would like to shift my focus. I am looking for any inspiring figureheads of western civilization from philosophers to musicians to artists to inventors.
Praying for the best of everyone right now.

Francis A. Yates – The Occult Philosophy in the Elizabethan Age, is a good place to start for this period that introduces you to the variety of concepts, ideas, art, etc, of the period. It’s a starting point, others may have some suggestions as well.
Francesco Petrarca, of the Italian Renaissance. A great place to start.
