I know Dr Farrell hates shopping, but I have noticed that Walmart shelves are pretty empty these days. To be honest, I have noticed that for a year or more, but not to the extent it is now. I have noticed also, that many of the missing items have nothing to do with our current “crisis”. For instance, the flower pot isle is almost empty when it should be bulging with product ordered long before the virus scare. There are countless other items that mirror this in Walmart, and indeed in most of the brick and mortar stores.
Could this be an example of another thing being blamed on the virus, when it has nothing to do with it?
Is this something to do with Amazon suddenly becoming the only viable place to shop? Could this result have been part of the plan to move Amazon into this position?
Perhaps as a result of the China sanctions that Trump put into place? (I think this is a good thing – we Need to start manufacturing in the US, and this will unfortunately be a growing pain of that). But, it surely “hides” the fact of U.S. policies creating shortages without pointing fingers at the political activities that probably caused it.
Would this have happened without the plandemic? A convenient scapegoat in a volatile political environment? I understand that there are bigger items to discuss, and this is but a small thing. Still, I think it may be an underlying cause of what now will not be questioned as part of this “New Normal” we are experiencing.
