Whether this analysis falls into the category of ‘the law of unintended consequences’ or not, it does strongly suggest that the US and a few other countries will become pariah nations due to their approach to this bug crisis. The China did it all crowd will see it as verification perhaps, whilst others who see the hand of the proverbial ruling elite might see it as (hopeful) proof that that elite is losing it’s grip on power and their ability to control events. Either way, it is a view into the near future, and it will be interesting to see how it plays out. Imagine the Olympics being held, but with certain countries barred from sending participants, merely one example of the potential described in this article. Groan… RT is a propaganda machine designed to enforce narratives of those who read and believe their stuff.
The same can be said for almost any news service in the world Bob…as you can see in what I wrote I offered two alternative ‘views’ on the article, and I’m sure there are many more. I posted it merely as ‘information’ not as a hard and fast belief on my part…time alone will tell if it has any accuracy and therefore validity 🙂
Whew…the best that can be done with most “information” available for mass consumption is deciphering the agenda or narrative being pushed and an occasional snippet of what’s really meant. The use of hyperbolic words are usually a key and extensively used more and more lately. And the intent seems to be to shock or pretent something is actually believable or real. Ug…
