Why don’t you drive past with your own water pistol. We’re definitely in the monty python stage of this virus – make every aspect of life farcical. I was told to get back behind an invisible line today at the local health food store. I asked how I was going to put my items on the counter, the ironic hipster said, I’m going to move back from the counter so you can (he shuffled backwards two inches). This was my cue to put the items on the counter as presumably he’s a virologist and understands the occult lives of viruses and this so called 2 inch rule. I really wanted to wang in his silly bearded face the carton of yogurt I was holding. If only it was a fish!
Farcical is correct. I need to have my glasses fixed so I had to first, answer their medical questionnaire, Second, wear a mask, Third, Wear Gloves. and finally, submit to a temperature check before entering the facility. At this point they’ve yet to implement the, We need your blood, your DNA, Check to make sure you’ve had your vaccines, and oh , yeah, We need to check your temperature rectally… at least not yet. Where do we go from here?
I don’t know. I keep going round and round. Off grid? Cheaper home and a chunk of savings so I can’t be forced via poverty to have a vaccine? Stay in my home and defend from here? Find an area where I think people will fight for their rights and say no to this and move there? Then encourage others to follow? I don’t know. I do think they’re stupid enough to risk killing enough of us to realise the China communist-technocratic wet dream system will not be accepted in the West. I also learnt today that China is now a completely cashless society.
And if anyone in the opticians office you visited develops ‘symptoms’ or takes a test that is calibrated too high (or is it too low), they will ‘trace to you.’ The docs/techs will have to name names.
I went to a Lens Crafter’s and there was one person working…. so in general, the risks are low. Gotta see right!? The tracking thing is going to be highly problematic for them to execute. I don’t think most of these individuals hired to do this are going to be met with cookies and milk!
