How many times does he say “voluntary”? It may be voluntary, but you will never be instructed on how to “un-volunteer” by any IRS agent. It’s that ignorance of the law thing…

If you take the position that Anna VonReitz and other “patriots” have, the corporation we call the United States of America is totally bankrupt and part of this “lockdown” is because they have had to leave certain municipal buildings that they no longer have control over during this bankruptcy. I have tried very hard to fully comprehend all the pieces but apparently if you take back your name through a series of steps, you can now be a live person (all caps = dead) and not owe any taxes and actually own the property on which you were paying taxes AND possibly forgive your mortgage with the money they have been trading on wall street with your birth certificate. Like I said, I have about 10 hours of reading into it and still am a bit sketchy on the topic. Perhaps tax IS now voluntary as it goes to pay the Corporation. ???? (See Uniform Commercial Code).
I’m in the same boat with regards to AVR. It’s a mountain of info to climb with a steep learning curve.
If federal taxes are now ‘voluntary’, when did that start? 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019? Does one have to register as ‘declining?’ Does this have any bearing on State taxes presumably owed? Thanks for doing yeoman’s work. Every time I’ve looked at Anna, I’ve thought, I’m just not equipped to evaluate her work.
It helps if you are like me and you can’t sleep very well so you pull off the covers, get back to your lap top and listen to another 2 hour lecture on the intricacies. I have pages of notes but know in order to make it work, you have to know the history and the law so that you are not speaking gibberish. Fact is, “they” have gone out of their way to make you not understand the REAL language (years of poor if not purposefully wrong education on their side) and if you don’t have it down pat for their “rules”, you are talking gibberish and thrown out.
I HAVE to comment here… this USA-as-corporation and voluntary tax stuff has been around for a VERY long time, before von Reitz got into it. It’s been going on since the 1970s… people have gone to jail by trying to act upon it. So my word of caution is, if you act on this information, be prepared for unpleasant consequences. There are reasons I do not talk about some subjects, though people have asked me to do so. This is one of those subjects… And while we’re talking legalities, remember “course of performance…” It has direct bearing here….
Thank you, Dr. Farrell.
Thank you for your reply, I am still looking into it, not going to jump to any conclusions or rash actions until I research it completely.
The IRS has repeatedly stated that paying the income tax is voluntary. But you will get no help from them on how to un-volunteer. It is not in their interests to do so.
Her approach, on the surface, would seem to be one lawful method to do so; however, I know of no one personally who has attempted this method, hence my caution. I would have to have to witness this in person to believe it might work.
I post this information in the hopes of eventually locating someone who has first person experience with it, not as legal advice. I sincerely hope most realize this. There are others on this site who have investigated it, but, so far, no one has acted upon it.
I doubt that she would intentionally bring harm to anyone and she and her team have been researching this for about 40 years. There is a chance that she might be onto something valuable and it is, at least, worth looking into. It has been intentionally designed to be a twisted, convoluted mire with an enormous amount of legal double speak, for sure.
