    It’s usually good to understand what others are thinking…notice last paragraph of the article. The implication is Ideas have consequences therefore should not be spread like a virus.

      Mother Jones is always reliable in terms of it’s political leaning so this is no surprise. What “anti-vaxxers” need to learn is that there is NEVER A VIRUS, no matter what they name it so NO VACCINE is effective or necessary. That is the message that needs to get out no matter how hard it is to comprehend at first. Once this knowledge gets accepted, children with vaccine injury should be MORE than a little pissed and it is time for it right now before there are mass casualties.

          Oh yeah, I used to subscribe to Mother Jones and The Progressive magazines in the seventies…nonsense then, nonsense now except they seem to have the pulse of the left.

        hmm so by that logic the flu isn’t caused by the influenza virus.

        So what I’m reading here in the replies, is that because Mother Jones leans left, you are willing to defy any sense they make or logic, just because it’s leaning left. It’s the equivalent of someone so angry at Trump that no matter what he does he’s wrong. It’s irrational on both side.

        I have a good friend who has a Medical Degree from Cornell University and practiced at MAYO Clinic, and is a director now at a NY hospital. He’s done talks on local news. I can assure you that he knows this is a virus and is pro taking measures, with focus on testing as most important aspect. Yet you armchair medical experts know more than anyone. I somehow would bet on him knowing better.

        At least that I follow many here (I can reply to some of these posts).

          I knew as soon as I made a comment about Mother Jones, it would be taken the way you describe. I don’t read Mother Jones because normally it is about making the middle to right as if they are idiots. I think this is not different.

          I don’t care if your good friend is Anthony Fauci, educated by the pharmaceutical lobbies has made a huge impact on what was taught in medical school. The fact is, by inventing a virus, the pharmaceutical company can not only avoid liability thanks to Reagan, but it helps the insurance company – the other arm of the Medical Mafia- to avoid liability for poisoning everyone with arsenic or DDT (polio) and now 5G, glyphosate, etc (CovidBS).

          Rather than be contrarian with me or believe your good friend the doctor, I suggest you read Virus Mania by Etienne de Harven and Joachim Mutter. Listen to the discussion given here by Dr. Robert. O Young https://www.youtube.com/watch?time_continue=2226&v=_BPb3ojcrWc&feature=emb_logo or look up any conversation with Dr. Andrew Kaufman, Bit chute (put the word together as it will not post otherwise) only as YT has censored any viewpoint that does not agree with mandating a vaccine for the virus. In other words, don’t take mine or your friend’s word for it, look it up yourself.

          By the way, both of my parents were physicians. My mother did the clinical work on Benadryl and was the first woman dermatologist to graduate from the U. Michigan. My father worked in Sabin’s polio lab in medical school and was a radiologist who started his department in 1949 and went from X-rays with a developing lab (developer and fixer) to CAT scans and MRI’s during his career. I grew up with JAMA by every toilet – the only thing to read. It means I DO read and have an open mind and understand to follow the money. Anyone who does not agree with the pharmaceutical approach loses funding, is not published in “peer review” (that makes me laugh) journals. At least give my references a try and if you still want to think I am stupid, so be it. Your choice. Your life and those of the people around you.
