    BACK TO BASICS: Giordano Bruno and the art of memory, mentioned by Joseph in “Thrice Great Hermetica” and elsewhere. This particular video gives and easy-to-understand overview, and mentions a number of books useful for futher investigation. PS some great hints on the ancient Art of Rhetoric, on how to persuade people and how to catch them out when they use convincing rhetorical devices to push completely fallacious arguments.

        I don’t know about the actual translation of that work, but, Francis A. Yates “The Art of Memory” is probably the best source for that work, and heavily footnoted.
