A new tack: push their rhetoric to the extreme. I’m going to campaign to public transport providers that merely mask wearing is not enough. I’m going to need an entire carriage to myself in order to feel safe. If not, I’m going to sue you for putting me in harms way! And I require all other passengers to wear a big plastic bubble bag around themselves and I expect oxygen packs to be supplied. Rant over.

    • Yeah Katie, go for it!!

    • LOL…I hear ya Katie. Fortunately where I live nobody has followed this junk for the most part. The sad thing is, we may just have to use tactics like that and start threatening or just filing ridiculous suits and start tying them up in the courts.

      • That’s good, where do you live and what are house prices like?! Lol! Yes, just like brexit, I think the country is split 50/50 on this. No one in Somerset is wearing masks on the buses even though it’s ‘mandatory’ although there is no legal law for this. People in Northants I’m told are being dutiful and docile little citizens and wearing them.

        • Lol…funnily enough I moved here from SoCal years ago to tiny-ville Arkansas, and you can pretty much almost build a mansion here for what a normal house costs where I came from. California has more codes (meaning they put their hands in your pockets) than words in the english language…which is how they want the rest of the country.

          • Oooh sounds nice. I think in England people who see what’s going on are retreating further and further away from all administrative centres, particularly people are wanting to move remotely. My sister’s family have their house up for sale and the estate agent said it will sell like a hot cake (even though it’s high price) as they have been inundated by Londoners wanting to move out of London and my home town is only 1 hour on the train to London. Obviously, this may all be by design so the corporates/Banks can move in and buy London but who knows.
