      Just say “No I have a medical condition and can’t wear one.” If they are ignorant of the law and ask what condition, say “You are not allowed to ask that question.” Don’t elaborate or feel a need to defend youself. Continue on your way. Show of confidence is a good deterrent…Worked for me at a Walmart and local Grocery store.
