How far do we go into the rabbit hole?
I’ve examined the levels people tend to go from ultra skeptics to ultra believers in just about anything they read in a corner of the internet that’s not the norm. If we examine an actual rabbit hole, we find that it can only go so deep into the ground, because if rains came the rabbit’s home could become a trap and the ground water rises up to kill the rabbit.
Similarly we should keep in mind that by going to far with unfiltered acceptance of ideas just because they are not main stream, will lead to faulty convictions.

All I know is that if YouTube or FaceBook censors something, it is probably true and does not fit the lies… er… the narrative they want you to follow. If you can’t google it and it comes up in Snopes as a conspiracy or a lie, then I know there is something right about the story. They have made the word conspiracy a bad thing. CAF explains that if you want to plan something, it is actually a conspiracy… so conspire ahead.
BTW, have you ever actually excavated a rabbit hole? It doesn’t go down, it goes horizontally, just like armadillo holes, fox holes, etc.
I’ve never excavated a rabbit hole, but yes it’s just an imperfect analogy, your description is more complete – there is a depth, but then goes out horizontally.
I’ve followed DJ, JPF, and CAF for a while and got a good picture of their views. I guess I’m coming back out now some, after reaching unsafe depths, but it is ongoing and dynamic. I try to use various sources for information and news – especially seeing opposing views – before assessing. I’ve contributed money to all these: DJ, JPF, CAF, Snopes and Wiki and other independent channels.
I’m more cynical than you Just, I don’t attribute them with any rational consistency in the censorship, which seems to be a mixture of constantly changing algos and a few human interventions here and there.
I’ve seen the screen go from black and white analogue television to the iPad I am writing this on….telephones when a person had to complete your call to the iPhone I now own…the combination of the technology in my view is simply a modern version of the Roman circus and bread feast. Make of it what you will.
