    • She mentions masks made of cheese cloth, for better breething. Anyone has experience with that?

      • I made one. Material is hard to work with and shrinks quite a bit in the wash but very breathable. Bought some chiffon masks from a site somebody posted here several weeks ago (BeyondSimpleMasks). They are kind of expensive but well-made and ships fast; breathable but not quite as cool and breathable as cheesecloth. I wear them as little as possible.

        • Thanks.

        • I bought one from BeyondSimpleMasks, too. Single layer chiffon and I love it! You’re right, they’re pricey, but I can breathe and that’s priceless.

        • I bought some sheer masks from that site as well after the suggestion made here. It has saved me at work in the rare instances I can’t get out of it due to “client” relations being top of mind.

    • YOU WON’T CATCH ME DEAD IN A MASK… or alive, either.

      • Amen!!

      • I don’t mind wearing them. They’re not expensive at our local chemist. Doesn’t bother me either way.

        • So you’ll be good when they suggest orange jump suits, next? It isn’t about health, it is about control.

          • Yep, I hear ya…I just told my own doctor clinic that if they try to force a mask on my face again, the next time they see me will be in court…these people will not understand until you haul their A$$ES in court! To be cont’d…

            • Again…look into Title 18 USC, Section 242, while we still have these laws to use and beat them over the head with them!!!

            • On the lawyer bandwagon myself and he will put down procedure on Friday. I hope Americans can see their amendments are special and needs preserving.
Wiggling as much as I can out of the masks and don’t wear one on the streets but as a nurse I have to put up with it. Fines are steep by the way!

          • Orange suits ? Yes, I’m ok with that if we’ve been bombed, or a bioweapon has been released. No problem at all. I seriously think people are making a big deal having to wear one. I know it’s up to our immune systems to fight viruses and bacterial infections, but the majority of people don’t have robust immunity. To to be frank, I think you should always wear one if you have a bug and have go to out to work or to do the shopping. Otherwise, stay home and get over the cold or flu. And if the issue is about being in control, might I suggest a different approach, and that is to re-visit the work of Dr Tiller and consider the possibility that you are now daily experiencing what you are continually trying to fight.

            • Can’t help you there because I am not on the germ theory bandwagon.
I think the exosome one has more merit. Acquiescing because of a numbers game? What has that to do with Tiller!

            • Yep, like Bizantura said, if you are on the Rockafailure pharmaceutical bandwagon, you fall for this burka identity neutralization but I prefer my freedom over giving it away to a government who pretends to protect mine from myself.

          • ….control, fear, silence, submission.

      • Me neither, I went to a large shop today for the first time in ages – every person wearing a mask apart from me. A few stares, mainly from men in their 40s as usual – I just stare them out, I think don’t openly advertise you are a monumental bed wetter then think you can intimidate me.

      • Sadly, here in Manila, not wearing a mask outside could well mean being shot by the police, empowered as they are by the murderous President Duterte! Good news perhaps though, as there are posts suggesting he has cirrhosis and may be gone soon (not soon enough of course). Sadly, like all such ‘strongmen’ who pass, the legacy they leave behind will take a lot longer to cleanse from the body politic (at all levels)!

        • Holy cow, beatthedrum… grass is suddenly looking a bit greener on my side of the fence, despite the drought. Strong positive energy being sent in your direction… with that we can win this everywhere. Peace to you and stay safe!

          • Thanks for the consideration…I must be honest and beg indulgence for my last post…I doubt I would be shot in reality, but it’s the feeling of fear that permeates the culture here – of the stupid bug as well as the cops – that is the conditioning factor. In my case, as an expat, I stand out like the proverbial dog’s testicles, so I do feel like a potential target, and therefore rarely leave the place but for early morning walks around the block…I live in a part of the city where that is still possible at least, and doesn’t raise any eyebrows, in fact there are a bunch of ‘senior citizens’ like me that I see regularly doing the same thing. As to my remark re the health of the President, we can only hope; the succession, should it happen, should go to the VP, a wonderful woman named Leni Robredo (think chalk and cheese he re her and Duterte), and there are many here worried for he health, politics here being what it is sadly.
