    • If only more of us could see that party – indeed, national – politics is fake, a divide-and-conquer-scam, a misdirection and a distraction from the fact that humanity is in grave danger of being taken down in a multi-dimensional war, which not many can even see, let alone stop.

      • Agreed; my inclusion of the article is not to cheer for the GOP ( nor do I think the author of the article was doing so ) vs. Democrat. Essentially we have a ‘uni-party’. The issue is not party but the *constituency* that, for better or worse, can be categorized as ‘Trump voters’ ( and realize that Trump is the effect, not the cause in this dynamic; middle America has been fed up with coastal/Beltway elites for a long time ). In *that* sense, I am firmly aligned with the so-called ‘flyover country’. The degree to which flyover country ( otherwise known as ‘white folk’ ) has been demonized by mainstream media, academia, ‘woke’ Fortune 500 corporations, and ( of course ) the Democrat party is off the charts, and frankly, both unjust and dangerous. Michael Anton is charting machinations of an embedded Deep State that refused/refusees to accept the results of 2016, have spent 4 years in unprecedented de-facto warfare against the Trump administration and the constituency that backed him, and give every indication of doing more of the same come November. To conclude: I see no virtue in being a quietist concerning political events which, like it or not, have a tremendous consequence for all of us.

P.S. as for the ‘multi-dimensional war’, being an Orthodox Christian I am firmly aware of the ‘principalities and powers’ that are the ultimate origin of malevolence. Combating that requires ( from my perspective ) spiritual warfare in the form of prayer and striving to follow The Lord as best one can ( given God’s grace ).

        • I don’t disagree. I didn’t think you were cheering for either party. Most Gizars see through all that; but all the fakery with which we are bombarded 24/7 is nonetheless exasperating. A united human front is crucial at this stage of our species’s struggle.

          • Ah, understood; my mistake. RE your plea for a ‘united human front’ I can only say from your lips ( pen ) to God’s ear. I certainly pray that all men of good will prevail ( as ultimately I believe, they do ). In terms of practical ( ugly ) politics in the American duopoly system, my position can be likened to someone defending his home against two intruders; if one of them is stealing my stereo and the other beating my wife, my ire will naturally be focused upon the latter without any implied sympathy for the former. This would be so even if I knew the stereo-thief was the one who had instructed the other thug to beat my wife. I can’t fight a two-front war and have to choose what constitutes the greater immediate threat to my well-being. Truth be told, I can’t even write on this website what my ‘lesser angel’ thinks should be done in order to provide a remedy for what ails us ( hint: the baker in Shakespeare’s Henry the VI called for it, but the profession he called out is not quite the one I’m thinking of ).

            • Oh no, no mistake. It was just me expressing myself badly, as usual 🙁
The two-front war is a good illustration of why humanity needs to be united. Shakespeare – whoever/whatever he/they was/were – was a very clever fellow. He knew a thing or two! A quantum playwright, maybe?!

      • while it is fake, it just so happens that in the US now, particularly dark forces have gathered under the “Democrat” banner to further their agenda – we can’t not see that when it is so clearly evident. The Democrat label has been infiltrated and used like a sheepskin on a predatory wolf to fool ordinary, not so curious, busy working folks. Repubs of course also use their label to fool and hide, and it is the rare person in the opposition Repubs that actually stands up and tells it like it is – Tom Cotton is one who comes to mind.
In political terms it could be said that to a degree “Neocons” took over the Dems over a period of decades, explaining the pro-war rhetoric from the former party of peace, along with the naked CIA handling on display. Most of congress is of course completely compromised by blackmail and when they are not, such as Cynthia McKinney, they don’t last long. As far as being a labor party to represent the working man they don’t really even pretend that anymore. So to your ultimate point, yes, if people didn’t just accept labels we wouldn’t have that problem. Or at least we could perhaps identify the problems much earlier. The liberal party is currently a leftist party ultimately run by the Deep State, and the “leftist”/”liberal” distinction I find important as I used to be a liberal. I started parting with the so called liberals in the 90s when they seemed to think it was ok for illegal aliens to flood California and Texas, and march in the streets for their rights as “citizens” thumbing their nose at foreign workers who had entered the country legally and native workers alike. The cognitive dissonance only grew from that time on.

Things i never see enough of – 1) calling the media what it is – CIA Propaganda Units and 2) calling Congress what they are – Compromised Blackmail Units. I am so sick of people saying things like “Republicans are cowards and so they don’t push back.” No. Far from it. Congressmen are almost all fully compromised to get in office at all, or from their freshman year on, and can’t ever go against orders. Rand Paul is probably not compromised and maybe there are a couple of others, but that’s it.

        • I don’t disagree. The whole fake edifice needs to exposed for what it is: a mechanism to control, manipulate and harvest. It needs to be shunned and ridiculed.
