This is utter madness, “they” are now trying to cancel classical music because it is too “white”!
This insane New Yorker article actually implicitly criticizes Dr. Martin Luther King
because he wrote in 1954 that he enjoyed listening to Donizetti’s ‘Lucia di Lammermoor’!
See the link below to the New Yorker article. But be advised, these are the cancellers of
cultures, these are the ballot stuffers via postal mail, these are the Pu$$ygate and Russiagate
conspiracy theorists now attacking classical music. I would advise everyone to download
your favorite classical music composers, artists, musicians, conductors and performers, from
iTunes or Spotify or YouTube or wherever, before they disappear in an effort to cancel “white music”!!!Here’s the insane New Yorker article:

Art is no different than any other segment of civilization.
Once the spoils and accolades are in place they are carefully guarded and access is limited by the gate keepers.
An artist can and will eventually figure out the structure and they and the other creative geniuses will circumnavigate the “system”. Conflict breeds creativity.
Just more woke nonsense. If you look at the philosophy behind woke-ism and woke’s core tenets, you realize that, to them, virtually everything in Western societies is “racist” (including all white people, by nature, irreparably, no matter what they do–like original sin with no chance of forgiveness–no joke). The stuff these people believe, or at least what the quackademics who’ve theorized all this believe, is the most utter, corrosive, and divisive nonsense you’re ever likely to hear. Just see Matt Taibbi’s review of the book White Fragility or any of James Lindsay’s excellent interviews on YouTube.
My thought is: For yourself, ignore it. For your local institutions, ward it off as a matter of urgency. Learn their buzzwords (“equity,” “disrupt,” “dismantle,” “structurally racist,” etc.), and when you hear local politicians and school boards using them, watch out. Groups that espouse this woke BS are financed by the likes of Soros, who are out to divide and conquer.

James Lindsay’s site:
… we must remember the newspeak world in which we live … woke = sleep , wokewise may be used as an adverb. See also Victor Klemperor’s The Language of the Third Reich: A Philologist’s Notebook. … nothing new under the sun …
Agreed. Another one is “anti-racist” policies = evaluating people on the basis of race = racist.
It’s not madness. It’s more serious than that: it’s a tactic being carefully and deliberately deployed in the war against humanity.
On which subject:

Hmmm, good article, heading in the correct direction; but I wouldn’t say that BLM are a NGO at all. BLM (and Antifa) are globalist paramilitaries, who need to be recognised and addressed as such. They are not-so-silent weapons in not-so-quiet wars.
… see the MST episode where Joel explains to Tom Servo and Crow T. Robot how hell is far more sinister when it operates subtly.
“What do you think of Adolph Hitler?” Joel asks.
“I hate him, naturally,” Crow replies.
“Now, what about the band Styx?”
“Well, they had one or two decent … Oh my God. You’re right.”
