“Let there be no doubt: the ruling class’s focus on Donald Trump has been incidental. America’s potentates do not fear one pudgy orange-haired septuagenarian. They fear the millions of Americans whom they loathe, who voted for Trump, who gave his party control of House and Senate, and who will surely vote for folks these potentates really should fear.”

Oligarchs’ and technocrats’ war on democracy seems a major theme of recent times. Witness the fight against Brexit, the EU’s ignoring the outcome of referendums, and the establishment’s unending anti-Trump hysteria. This article gives a fairly in-depth and (IMO) insightful examination of the American case. It points out that what TPTB want to crush is not some populist leader, but the people who voted him in. I think the tactic is to utterly demoralize and denigrate that group of voters, to the point they feel devoid of power and worth. I believe this is the goal in countries all over the Western world. (And, incidentally, I don’t think they should let anything demoralize them.)

    • Our pal Al from Forum Borealis in the 2016 “JFK and the Putsch of America” with Joseph stated at the end with his commentary that Trump IS THE ESTABLISHMENT ! Yes he is one of the very oligarchs referred to. The people who believe to the right, the very rich who only want to ensure their benefits and the rest who project their hatred and what I refer to as “hatilism” on him because he CON-vinces them to think he is just one of them.

      • I’m not saying Trump isn’t rich and connected to rich, influential people. I also don’t believe there’s one monolithic oligarchy; there are factions. I don’t think Trump is an oligarch on the level of a Rockefeller or a Bush (multi-generational dynastic wealth and/or international influence).

IMO the point is the anti-Trump oligarchical factions probably aren’t afraid of Trump himself, since he’s not a Rockefeller or a Bush. He’s a threat and an insult to them, among other reasons, because he gave hope (real or false) to “deplorables” who are attached to notions like patriotism, borders, and protection of domestic manufacturing. Those notions have to go–and the people who hold them have to be marginalized and made to feel marginal–if the globalist dream is going to progress unimpeded.

    • What is missing from this article is that we have been under Martial Law since March 1933. 2019 represents the third bankruptcy in the US (70 year periods, 210 years since 1789) and this country is no longer protected under bankruptcy laws. This is why they are now trying to figure out how to RESET the system globally. This global reset is because the entire system has been pegged on the dollar, now worthless, which is why nearly all governments played along with the Covid Fraud game. Knowing that the IMF is owned by the Vatican was a bit of a shock (but should not have been based on Joseph’s books). Since March 4th 1933, under FDR, the country went under the War Powers Act and under Proclamation 2040, Emergency Banking and Relief Act, citizens were declared dead and all enemies of the state. This means that all assets went under the Corporate Trust so that when we think we own something, we are simply allowed to resume residence or use these assets but do not actually own ANY property. As dead people, we own NOTHING. The War Powers Act is why our flags are all fringed in gold – we are under Martial Law. The only way the President matters is if he rescinds Proclamation 2040. No President has done that in 87 years and, since we are operating under a Corporate Trust which does not exist as a nation, that we are operating under a fraudulent system, until that is corrected, the “Hatilism”, as you say, is simply to keep us divided so we don’t learn this truth.
