    My impression is the multinationals have finally succeeded in owning what and who they want and will do as they damn well please…armchair and legal rebellion poses no threat.

      I think they’re close… But we can’t be sure. Maybe they have less control than we think. They and their AI can make mistakes. There’s factional infighting, so nobody’s 100% in control. Besides, IMHO, even if you’re already defeated, never give up!
