The movie was okay but the Flash Gordon episodes were better. Especially the one where Ming has his priest dehumanize Dale to over come her refusal to be his bride. Then there’s the line from Ming about the role of Science to eliminate human emotions…sound familiar like Transhumanism? And the series is from 1936 the era when Technocracy adherents had orange rims on their vehicles to identify each other.

I like in the credits where it names Professor Bulwer as a “Paracelsian”… nod, nod, wink wink…one of our favorite alchemists here at Giza University…and is the Bulwer a little nod to Edward Bulwer-Litton?
