“[MIT] researchers are planning to integrate the new AI tool into a smartphone app that would allow users to log in on a daily basis to record a cough and get real-time results of whether they’re infected or not. Upon FDA-approval, the app could be a transformative pre-screening tool.” Checked other sources since I thought it might be satire! But it’s not.

I love how they think they an usurp the human spirit! These people live in tiny worlds and think that everything thing they say or do will astound and amaze the rest of us. Maybe it impresses those of like mind, say the other elite who also live in little gadget-filled, trinketed worlds. If they want to treat us like children, then maybe we should give like in return: lose the smartphone; forget to turn it on; leave it at home… you get the drift. Children do that all time in their own little wars of attrition against authority.
I agree. We have to put up any kind of resistance we can, childlike or not.
To me, it looks like the authorities are going to try to impose weekly or daily testing. People who work for big companies need to be aware this could be coming. What happens when the company you work for requires all employees to cough into their phone every day before coming into the office, to make sure they’re not “infected,” as a matter of company policy? If infected, then it’s off for a vaccine, a quarantine, or whatever. Are people going to quit their jobs in protest? Most people couldn’t afford to.
We need to resist this kind of insanity before it gets implemented on any kind of significant scale.
I have thought about this a lot too. If we are made to take the vaccine, will I say “No” and risk our home to be confiscated? If my soul is at the mercy of a baby-part vaccine, will I denounce it and be incarcerated? These questions weigh very heavy on my mind and I’ve had many discussions with my family about it. For me, it will be a test of my Christian faith that my dear ones won’t understand, and pray I won’t have to make. But I too sense that it’s in the pipeline.
