Regarding those “stimulus” payments (my wife has yet to receive hers), they squandered a chance to truly help our economy and ~90% of the population. They could have given every man, woman, and child in the USSA a million dollars each and still had ~1.64 trillion dollars to spread among the corporations and businesses which this “lockdown” nonsense has obliterated. It would have virtually eliminated most of the personal debt in this nation, stimulated the economy enormously, and have actually been beneficial. Instead, only the usual suspects benefited and ~90% of the population is no better off in the long run. This was just another rape of the treasury in a long line of similar occurrences on an increasingly shorter recurring period of time. Typically the last thing that occurs during the collapse of any empire is the final and utter depletion of its treasury by the ruling class.
This was never about helping the common man.

AND it was BOTH parties that were responsible.
Correct me if I’m wrong here. Did it fall on Congress or another entity to approve Trump’s orders? It has always seemed to me that whatever he put on the table, it was usually rejected. Is this correct?
The Congress created the numbers and approved them for distribution. That is NOT the role of the President… Finances are up to the House and approved by the Senate. President signs the bill.

Thanks for the link. I’m not from the U.S. as you’ll see from my other reply.
Again. Truly sorry for the surly reply. I hope you will accept my apology for being rude.
It’s not until figures like this .. are put in a way that brings it all down to earth .. that you realise just how ENORMOUS these amounts of debt money really are ..
