(Headline) Third World War a ‘risk’, the head of the military warns, as he calls on Government for long-term funding

(Opening paragraph) There is a “risk” of a Third World War due to growing global uncertainty, the head of the military has warned, as he called on the Government to commit to “long term” funds for the armed forces.

… and should you go to read this article there will be an accompanying video. Is it just me or does the picture on the wall over General Carter’s shoulder resemble “The Colonel” from Monty Python (Graham Chapman). It would be fitting as most of what is said is as “The Colonel” would say “Too silly for the public.”
