The Church of Woke
A belief system can be a unified ideology that is cultural, scientific, academic, religious and political. Using Michael Vlahous’s term let us call it the Church of Woke. One faction of the Church resides, and hides within traditional Academia. Using Joseph’s term let’s call that wing of the church, Quackademia. The political wing of the Church of Woke has ascended to a powerful position. I will call the political wing of the Church of Woke the Demoncrat Party, but let me be very clear here, it hides and resides within both the traditional Democrat and Republican parties. Please do not confuse the argument being made here with catcalls that this is in anyway politically driven.

Another wing of the Church of Woke has infiltrated, or is in the process of infiltrating, the administrative structures of all types of institutions across the U.S.: religious institutions, cultural institutions, city councils, health departments, police departments, school districts, HR departments… you name it. That’s the most dangerous wing.
The entire body of the Church of Woke is dangerous to the Republic. But yes, some elements could be more destructive, and dangerous.
Biden et al. seem to embrace the clergy–in appearance if not in fact: https://www.zerohedge.com/political/biden-gives-uc-irvine-reparations-advocate-seat-treasury-transition-team
I think it’s a serious problem when people who’ve advocated crazy social-justice policies are invited to rub shoulders with those who frequent the halls of power.
Yep! Any potential administration needs to “hit the ground running on Day One”. If bad comes to worse, Biden of course would only be the ‘puppet’ as we all know. In the meantime the hierarchy of the Church of Woke is being observed, and duly noted. Thanks for the info!
Follow-up: Thanks so much for posting the article!!! Mehrsa Baradaran’s 2017 book ‘The Color of Money” deserves recognition in my next posting on the Church of Woke.
