I notice the “circuit-breaker” meme has travelled. THey have introduced a new theme in SA.. the virus has apparently “replicated at least 5 (that’s FIVE) times.” Can’t wait for the virus to replicate at least 5 times somewhere else. The mode has shifted from deaths, to cases, so many cases, and now to “oh my god, it’s replicating now… at least 5 times!”. Noone is dying, and there are apparently 20 people in the whole country with Covid-19 in hospital… note, that’s “with” the virus, not “of” the virus. It’s getting a bit bananas now as everwhere tries to get their scheduled 6-weeks lockdown in before Christmas. It’s a race to not be the Grinch, tick the boxes and appease whoever is driving this plan.
It seems like, in the West, the English-speaking current/former Commonwealth countries are where the most radical social-engineering and police-state tactics are being trialed. And more than one such country is using the “we’ll let you come out for Christmas if you’re good little boys and girls and stay locked up right now.” I can’t believe people are going along with it.
