Interestingly enough, a similar occurrence took place on January 1st, 2001 in Seattle’s Magnuson Park, on “Kite Hill” Also of some interest is that it disappeared shortly after and no one knows how it was removed or by whom. The link follows. https://www.historylink.org/File/2923
My reply got scrubbed. I was likening the Space Odessy movie with the monkies jumping around the monolith to the monquay vacscene. Also note this monolith was found in Utah. Home of DNA collection centre.
In a word yes. When confronted by the Obelisk, the said species of primate suddenly had that idea to use the bones laying about in the desert for something less socially acceptable than making a bone broth…. :] the bone then gets thrown in the air and the movie’s most famous cut scene delivers us to the location of an orbital space station. This is the point where I’d like you to remember the question in vidchat that mentions how the regular black polygons in the film represented EPUHSTEMIK cuts in the perception of the viewer.
Not as weird as one might think! I’d wish you Happy American Thanksgiving! but I’m not sure what country I’m living in at the moment… it certainly bears little resemblance to the one I grew in!
Well it still warms my heart that you wished me. Happy Thanksgiving BB.
It’s not better here either. What bothers me is everyone just plods on and ignores it. I feel like shaking everyone.
that’s an interesting angle, Dana. I wonder if these thngs are solid or hollow. Should be quite easy to figure out their provenance if they are hollow and welded. That would clear things up fairly quickly I imagine.

Weird – had literally logged in to post this vid!
Going back to the Space Odessey movie – I’ve never watched it but does the scene with the monolith feature monkies? Monkey vaccine?

Oh-er! I don’t know what to make of that. My first reply has now appeared I see. I kinda tempted to watch it now!
Watching the movie will generate a field effect on you epistemically, so be prepared. It is however, a brilliant bit of cinema.
