Isn’t creating large-scale dire poverty part of the plan? How else do you get people to beg for UBI–the societal change you yourself (if you’re the elite) want to impose? Just like lockdowns are, among other things, a tactic to get people to beg to get vaccinated so they can be let out of house arrest; again, you get the people to clamor for the thing you want to impose–mass vaccination. The former tactic, I think, will be successful; not so sure about the latter.
I would like to think that people are being kicking and screaming into a place in which they have to think and then, to ‘put their money where their mouths are’ and then act upon that. Not just take the bait and shut up.
I would hope so, but so far, I’ve seen more compliance with tyrannical nonsense than I have pushback. Now, there has indeed been some pushback and protests, so I suppose it could go either way.
