Hope you “larder” is full. The strike that the truckers promised is on.

    • Plenty of beans and rice

    • Well, if this is legit, I understand the reaction, but honestly, this is the last thing we need. I mean really, what are they going to do, sit out there for the next six weeks, or longer? It will change nothing, IMHO. We really need to pull it together. Elections have been stolen since the beginning, and will continue to be stolen. Can we ever change that, I don’t know? Maybe. But I sure don’t remember Republicans being up in arms when the little shrub stole the election a few years back… I want to see rational, not reactionary responses. Just my two cents.

      • I’ve been on strike since the last week in March. I’m only one man out of roughly 3.5 million who can drive 80-90K lbs down the road, but I ain’t going back until this country squares it’s head out of its bung hole. It’s not possible in a country this large to have strikes like they do in France or elsewhere. But if it did happen for say two weeks, every major city would be drenched in blood. Here in the good ole US of A, it’s every dog for himself. As for myself, after over a million and a half miles of getting screwed blued and tattooed, I’m debating whether or not to renew my CDL at the end of January.

        • I get it, Ken. We have two CDL drivers here: one who used to haul locally and one who hauls now (not your load weight, but live loads) so I hear you loud and clear. Here is the dilemma, though. We absolutely need to hear from the needs of the industry that feeds us but at a time when the NWO asshats want to starve us, this is possibly not the best time to make this statement. Truckers might want to determine whose idea it was to chose this particular time to make food and building materials difficult to find. It might have been planned by people with little interest in helping the US, but rather bring it down when it is vulnerable.

I open this up as a dialogue because I think people here have NO idea about your situation and as thinkers, might be willing to come up with ways to inform others about what we might do to move forward. It is clear we need to completely change our entire election system and we need to start recognizing the importance of the people who make our country run smoothly. Let us know how you think we might start.

          • There are about a hundred different ways, if not more, to dig into this one. So I’ll boil it down as best as possible. It is not just one industry. What ails one, ails all. We have no law in this country anymore nor anyone to enforce it. The Constitution is the Supreme Law of the Land, meant to govern over the representatives of the people. So that legislatures, judges and executive branches do no rule the people, and strip them of their natural rights. Until law can be re-established, through the enforcement of the constitution, there can be no peace nor prosperity. And hence there hasn’t been for quite some time, and I’d question if there really ever was. Business regulations have succeeded in destroying small community business in favor of multinational corporations. A small family business has every right to exist, without a business license, fees and regulations. Any imposition of such is a violation of their natural rights. That is why corporations had charters, in times past. For they are not a human and as such, have no natural rights. If we could return to this, then the foreign influences through multi-national corporations would not have power over the people of this country. For when they went to renew their charter, it would have to be done at the state level and could be denied. Any law that restricts the motion of a man to make his way through the world peaceably, to create security, wealth and happiness, is a violation against all. These core principles have to be abided by, they are simple and not difficult to understand. The problem is when nefarious individuals confuse the simple with many false ideas that only serve to chip away at core principles. The devil is in the details, and I’d advise not to go chasing him. Meaning, do not get lost in the details, the truth of our natural rights is simple. We are fortunate in this country, that they were explained simply, and that a structure was created, to manage a governing body. It simply needs to be enforced. Again I’d like to reinforce this concept, the law is the constitution, meant to govern the representatives of the people, not the people. Hope this a good place to start. I think it is, getting there might be a bit difficult though.

      • After 3 weeks of hanging chads, I don’t think Republicans thought there was a “steal”. I used to live in Fort Lauderdale just as the Mafia decided it was no longer off limits to “settle the odds” (mowed down the guy and his wife just outside his home in Plantation as they were arriving home) so the idea that there could be graft in Florida? Give me a break.

I think this could be a bigger deal. Truckers were abused during the CovidBullManure and then again during the BLAMTIFA crap. They are making a statement, possibly not just about an election steal.

        Just my take on it.

      • I get where you’re coming from, ML, and I get where the truckers are coming from too… This is what happens when the political class (both parties, IMO) stops listening to half the population. I haven’t lived in the heartland for a long time, but the way I see it, there’s a whole lot of Americans who at the very least want to have their voices, needs, and concerns heard, and who haven’t for about 30 yrs now. I don’t think we should expect very many rational responses to anything in the next few years, certainly not in the next few weeks.

        • Well said, Fiat. I was a long haul copilot a time or two in my day, and it was truly a great experience. Long haulers are under appreciated, no doubt. At this point, I’m just so over protests of any sort. Though, it’s a valued privilege to have, certainly. But at what point does one’s protest become justifiable when it inflicts damage upon someone else? Maybe that’s just the nature of the game? So be it, I suppose. Also, I completely relate to the notion of “let your voice be heard”. We have been disenfranchised on so many levels. But dang. Suck it up already. Take it on the chin, and get’em next time. This is politics. Sometimes you win and other times you’re cheated. It happens. As anyone with half a brain can see the election was “stolen”, if that’s even the right term, idk. But this level of protest is beyond my rational. And you are so right, rational thinking may have taken the last flight out of sanityville and is currently on a beach somewhere in the Bahamas, I know I’d like to be there. But anyhow, forgive my pessimism, I’m just so politically spent at this point. But, to each their own, and to each be well.
