On Short a Term Basis, Local Law Enforcement is The Most Powerful and Most Challenging of all domestic careers (MY OPINION !)
In the Bible “they” were referred to as The Centurians.
In the movie w/ George C. Scott and Stacey Keach, THE NEW CENTURIANS, the line is used that “they” hold the Line on Civilization.
In addition:
Law Enforcement basically has a License to Kill in My Opinion. If I am Local Law Enforcement I can shoot Nidster and claim he was committing a crime, and call for the Mortician as I file a Report.

I may be put on modified desk assignment.

The Governor, the mayor, the judge, the jury, the warden, the executioner, etc., none of them can legally, singly execute/kill me for killing Nidster.
While my shooting of Nidster is investigated, I eat, sleep, drink, work, go on w/ life, etc.

MOVING ON AND TRYING TO TIE THIS TOGETHER QUICKLY AND SIMPLY:
When “We the People…” put a gun on somebody’s hip, are we Pre-Qualifying, Selecting, Hiring, Training the Wrong People ?
Also low pay and recently worsening perceptions of Law Enforcement by the MSM and Liberals, etc., increase the problem w/ a SOCIETY OF PEOPLE WHO KNOW BETTER AND OFTEN/USUALLY RESENT AUTHORITY.
In a paper I wrote loosely covering this whole Subject Matter, I also concluded w/ my perception of the 3 major problems of our society
1. Breakdown in Family Structure,
2. Breakdown in Moral Training, religious, or otherwise,
3. Poor Education (while Illinois is # 1 w/ taxes, Illinois is # 50 w/ education. How does that work I still wonder?) Comments ? Respectfully,

You know, I was trying to get info on localities that have Constitutional sheriffs, and Mack turned up in some media hit-piece. I hadn’t known he was even on the MSM radar. He got the boilerplate smears–“alt right” or “far right” or maybe “white supremacist.” Heard him interviewed a couple times–I didn’t get the impression he was any of those things. I conclude somebody perceives his message–we should uphold the Constitution–as a threat. You’d have thought that was the one thing all Americans could agree on, different interpretations of it notwithstanding. Mr. Global has just about erased the last thing that united Americans at all.
