a more simple prediction … and the people will see that the United States is now a dual state (actually has been for quite some time) and the American Justice System will be “coordinated” with the goals of the Democratic Party. Rather than precedent the courts will work according to “gesundes Volksempfinden”. The Supreme Court will henceforth be called the “Peoples Court” and its Chief Justice will be a clone of Roland Freisler.

  The Supreme Court started going bad almost from the beginning… For example, when it arrogated to itself–arguably ultra vires–the power of judicial review of legislative acts. At this point in American history, I think the problems with society go deeper than corrupt institutions. We have deep-seated cultural problems, which no institutional restoration or reform is going to fix. The cultural problems are themselves exacerbated by steady economic decline since shipping our manufacturing overseas, and repeated, increasingly severe financial crises. If I had to boil down the cultural problems I’m talking about, I’d put it this way: lack of integrity and repudiation of any notion of virtue. In fact, the problem may go beyond the cultural–it might be more accurate to say we have civilizational problems. Using CAF’s “red button” metaphor, I’d submit the button is broken and needs to be repaired before we can turn it green.
