I admit that I used to be proud of the fact that I had never been to TX. I had lived in many states from MI and NY down to FL, but when I finally made it here, I was blown away. They had kept it a secret by making it such a pariah and while I wish, in some ways, people still thought of it that way, I love this state. I am home.

Do tell… I’ve lived in many states and a couple different countries, and I’m still looking at different states in the U.S. Can’t decide whether to look at a different part of FL than I’m in or another state. TX seems to have a lot going for it. Seems like more and more people from NY are coming to FL, and from CA to TX; makes me wonder if that will change the politics of FL and TX in the future. I’m curious: What are some of the things you like about TX, if you wish to share?
